The story inside our name

Five people.
One shared purpose.

Gamma began with the names Gloria, Giselle, Maya, Maya, and our founder—five lives woven into a word that came to mean something greater: reaching beyond ourselves so others can rise.

One of our first acts was a community feeding in Merryville, Louisiana. The turnout showed what is possible when people gather around care, dignity, and hope.

We are organizing as a Louisiana nonprofit and preparing to apply for federal 501(c)(3) recognition. We welcome future board members, community partners, volunteers, and neighbors who believe in the mission.
